Adding Ultimate Performance to Windows 10
Enable Ultimate Performance Power Plan
NOTE: This process does not work on Laptops!
-
The first process will be for the user to update the PC to Windows 10 version 1903 (or later). You can check this in Settings > System > About.
-
Now, open Settings >System > Power & sleep > Addtional Power Settings.
-
Choose to customize a power plan, expand the option which says “Unhide Additional plans.”
-
If you do not see Ultimate Performance Mode, then follow the next steps.
-
Open a Command Prompt as administrator.
-
In the command prompt, copy the following command, paste then hit Enter:
powercfg -duplicatescheme e9a42b02-d5df-448d-aa00-03f14749eb61
Select Ultimate Performance Power Plan
Minimize the command prompt, and go to :
Settings >System > Power & sleep > Additional Power Settings.
